Collaborating

Our Chapter will be collaborating with the Austin STC Chapter and the University of North Texas (UNT) STC Student Chapter, Eagle Technical Communication (ETC) this year to bring you shared event planning including joint webinars, shared nationally known speakers, and shared all-day workshop presentations.

In addition, our Chapter will be working with the UNT Student STC Chapter and the UNT Department of Technical Communication to provide a closer relationship between our chapters and the University including joint meetings, question and answer sessions, scholarships, and other projects of mutual interest. The future of technical communication and of STC lies in healthy collaboration between experienced and emerging technical communicators. Our Chapter wants to be a part of that future.

Send an email if you have an interest in influencing the future by engaging with emerging technical communicators.

Webinars for January and February

Due to the weather in North Texas, based on our experience over the last three years, the Chapter has decided to offer webinars in January and February in lieu of live meetings.

The webinars will be presented by nationally known speakers.

These webinars will be free to Chapter members.

The webinars will be joint webinars for the Lone Star STC Chapter, the Austin STC Chapter, and the UNT Student STC Chapter.

Look for announcements in December for more information about the January and February webinars.
